With every new purchase of LightSpeed, customers receive access to 3 months of telephone support and 3 months of free upgrades. Customers will continue to always have access to all updates and bug fixes to the version of the product they purchased. To continue to receive support and upgrades after the initial 3 month period, Xsilva offers a Support and Upgrade Subscription.

LightSpeed Upgrades

Xsilva makes upgrades to LightSpeed several times a year, with smaller updates delivered with even greater frequency, as we bring new functionality to the LightSpeed product and rapidly incorporate customer requests. Keeping your LightSpeed installation up-to-date and on the leading edge is easy with the Subscription. Optional LightSpeed modules such as the LightSpeed Web Store and On-Target Reports are not included in the Upgrades program.


OpenBase Upgrades

OpenBase, the database engine that is the foundation of LightSpeed, is upgraded on a regular basis, and generally needs to be upgraded when Mac OS X itself is upgraded to a major new release due to low-level changes in the OS that can affect the database server. Your Support and Upgrade Subscription entitles you to these upgrades, which will continue to increase the speed and reliability of LightSpeed's powerful SQL backend.


Employee Access

Your employees can call, iChat or email Xsilva support staff with their LightSpeed questions and issues and be assured of receiving expert answers from a trained consultant. This saves you from answering or researching these questions yourself or having to serve as the in-house IT specialist.

Remote Database Access

Xsilva can access your database remotely upon request and troubleshoot or analyze issues when they occur.


After Hours Emergency Support

Xsilva Support will make our best effort to provide after hours email and phone support to Subscription holders in an emergency situation. Expect a response within 24 hours during the week and within 48 hours on weekends and holidays.
