LightSpeed 2.8.8 Compatible with Snow Leopard

This week, Apple releases the latest version of the world's most advanced operating system, Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard (For upgrade information visit http://www.apple.com/macosx/).

Please note that you MUST be upgraded to LightSpeed 2.8.8 prior to upgrading to Snow Leopard. 

LightSpeed 2.8.8 has been tested with Snow Leopard and is compatible with Apple's latest operating system. We are still testing Snow Leopard compatibility with older versions of LightSpeed. If you do not wish to upgrade your version of LightSpeed, please hold off on upgrading to Snow Leopard until we post further compatibility information on this page in the coming weeks. 

Those with a Support and Upgrades subscription valid as of February 1st, 2009 can upgrade to LightSpeed 2.8.8 free of charge. If you are unsure or have any questions about getting LightSpeed up-to-date for an upgrade to Snow Leopard, please feel free to contact Xsilva Sales at sales@xsilva.com or by calling 866-932-1801 ext 1.

Please note that Xsilva recommends holding off on Snow Leopard upgrades until Monday, August 31st when our Support department can help resolve issues that may interrupt the operation of your LightSpeed installation.

Backup Before Upgrading
Prior to installing any LightSpeed or Mac OS update, LightSpeed recommends that users create a backup of their database by following the Manual Backup instructions in our Backup PDF manual, located here

If LightSpeed Cannot Connect After Upgrading
