All-New Browser
The all-new LightSpeed Browser features an easy-to-use iTunes-like interface that lets you quickly and easily browse your business as easily as you would browse a playlist in iTunes.
Browse live previews of products, customers and sales documents, drag and drop business elements to create new documents, and save frequently-used Smart Finds. Search every corner of your LightSpeed-managed business with the Search All feature, look up inventory in other linked stores, effortlessly capture product and customer images on-the-fly with an iSight camera, and access LightSpeed 2's powerful Sales, Service, Tracking and Purchasing tools from within a single streamlined interface.
Browser searches are also now based on leading-edge SpringLoader technology from Xsilva and OpenBase, meaning that even the most rapidly-growing databases can be browsed at lightspeed!
Revamped Point of Sale
LightSpeed 2's features a revamped, optimized and resizable version of LightSpeed's popular 'floating' Point of Sale interface, now with customizable colors and transparency. Run video or picture ads when the POS is idle, and perform multi-store inventory lookups right from within the Point of Sale interface!
Integrated Web Store
The LightSpeed Web Store lets business owners generate and maintain a fully-customizable PHP and CSS-based e-commerce site from their LightSpeed database, with a single-click. Orders can be downloaded with a single-click and processed using LightSpeed's built-in credit card processing. The Web Store is an optional module for LightSpeed 2 that is sold separately.

LightSpeed 2 offers dynamic Sales, Service, Tracking and Purchasing tools that employ lightning fast SQL searches, natively multi-user operation and intelligent quoting, ordering, invoicing and purchasing workflows designed to manage inventory and empower small businesses. A 30 Day Demo of LightSpeed 2.0 Beta 2 is available immediately for download.
For licensed users of LightSpeed that are not yet running a live production database, a version of 2.0b2 is available here that will log into a regular licensed database. Proceed at your own risk, as this is beta-quality software.
LightSpeed 2 and LightSpeed Web Store will ship shortly after the Beta 2 release and can be purchased through an Xsilva-Authorized Reseller listed at www.xsilva.com/resellers.php or online at www.xsilva.com/store.php. The LightSpeed Web Store will be sold separately as an optional module.
Customers that purchased LightSpeed after November 15th, 2006 will receive a free upgrade to LightSpeed 2.0 upon availability. Customers with a current Subscription plan will also be able to download 2.0 directly from xsilva.com at no additional cost. Subscription plan renewals are available online for existing customers at www.xsilva.com/store.php.
